CW: Animal Death, Violence
We return triumphantly to 2025 with a listener question: how many chickens would it take to fight an elephant? First we need to decide on the chicken. Consider size. Spirit. Anger. And then we need to determine how much a group of chickens can take out. Can we fight a chicken? Can a horse? A moose? Join us for the chicken debate!

Honestly, we didn’t have resources for this episode. We were just winging it. Get it? So mostly, I’m going to put up some funny pictures that M made and some stats about the Malay chicken.

First of all, this is a Malay chicken in all her leggy glory. I’ve picked an image of her beside a normal ass chicken.

In case you were wondering, the Malay chicken is 3 feet tall, and this is how that compares to M.
Just for fun, if you haven’t watch this gem of Youtube, then you need to stop whatever you’re doing and go watch it.

So for this image, we were comparing M and the chicken with the original Asian elephants size in purple with the African elephant we eventually decided we were going to focus on.

And, for fun, Godzilla versus the sizes of everyone else. Can you still see M or the chicken on here?
Here’s an article about the Malay chicken, for the references. And a quote from the article: “As one poultry author says in her book, Mini Encyclopedia: Chicken Breeds and Care, “…a blow from a Malay’s beak will feel akin to being hit with a hammer.””
